Janet Albrecht Barp, 70, passed away on January 6, 2022, in Provo, Utah.
Janet was born July 1, 1951, in Salina, Utah. Janet was the oldest daughter of Owen Lanaie and Ranae Hunt Albrecht. She grew up in Loa, Utah and attended Wayne High School in Bicknell, Utah, graduating in 1969. After graduation, she moved to Salt Lake City and was working for various companies.
In 1977, she met her future husband Dan Barp. They were married on December 28, 1978, and just celebrated their 43rd year of marriage.
Janet loved to travel and loved to go camping and fishing. She loved her Utah Utes and Utah Jazz.
Janet is survived by her husband, Dan, her sons, her grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Danny , and her sister Dona and brother Kelly along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen Lanaie and Ranae Hunt Albrecht. Her brother Terry and sister Dixie Albrecht.
Funeral services will be held on January 15, 2022, in the Crosswinds Third Ward Meetinghouse at 1661 South 1400 East in Spanish Fork, Utah. The viewing will be held from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 with the service following at 11 o'clock a.m. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery
