He was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain as an assembler, retiring after 37 years. He served in the United States Army and enjoyed gardening, dining out and his grandpets.
Survivors include his daughters, Sue Lorbach and Alexis (John) Sedivy; sons, Alan(Diane) Pleska and Glenn Pleska; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Dumont and Irene Oshanko; brothers, Pete and Charlie Pleska.
He was preceded in death by his wife Johanna in 2014 and a sister, Mary.
