Floyd Wayne Decker was born on August 28, 1948 in McCurtain, Oklahoma to Jim and Gladys (Lane) Decker. He passed away on January 9, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 73.

His wife, Roberta Decker, of Tamaha, OK

Two daughters:
Rhoda Johnson and husband, Allen, of Tamaha, OK
Misty Bullard of Tamaha, OK

His daughter-in-law:
René Decker of Tamaha, OK

His grandchildren:
Brandon Johnson, Draven Johnson, Bailee Murray, and husband, Jordan, Rilee Decker, Joshua Decker, Laynee Boyd, Lylah Boyd, Bentlee Johnson, and Baker Johnson

His great grandchildren:
Liam, Lynnix, Larsyn, Indie Jane, and Beckham

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Gladys Decker; two sons, Wayne Decker, Jr. and Tommy Decker; his grandson, Triston Boyd; his siblings, Edith Bray, Ann Barnes, and Pearl Mallet; and his nephew, John Mallet.

Wayne was a member of the 1966 graduating class of McCurtain High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He attended NSU and received his Bachelor's Degree in Education.

Coach Decker taught and coached for many years at Keota Public Schools and McCurtain Public Schools as well as Administration.

He enjoyed spending time with this family, working on the ranch, and always helping others.

He is loved and will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 10; from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 11 and 12; with Visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at McCurtain High School Gymnasium with Rev. Brandon Mooneyham, Mike Mills, Rev. Rick Stout, Lawrence Palmer, and Patrik Lovell officiating. Interment will follow at Iron Bridge Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
