Beverly was born in Fairhaven, Ohio on Friday, September 27th, 1947, daughter of the late Richard Thomas Benton and Beulah Frances Larison Benton. Beverly graduated from Dixon Israel High School in Ohio, and Flight Attendant School in Kansas City. She previously worked as a bus attendant, waitress, EMS, secretary at Pennex, and retired as a supervisor at CVS. She was an avid fossil hunter and collector, and loved creek stomping with her grandchildren.
Beverly was survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Fredrick H. "Fred" Campbell, whom she married in Winchester, Virginia on October 2nd, 1965; two daughters, Tammy (and Dan) Schuller and Patty (and John) Longacre; two sisters, Virginia "Carol" Benton and Sandra Borradile; seventeen grandchildren; ninteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Benton, who departed this life on June 21st, 1995 and Beulah Benton, who departed this life on October 23rd, 1995; one son, Fredrick "Fred" Campbell III, who departed this life on June 9th 2017; one daughter, Theresa "Tracy" Strackbein, who departed this life on December 13th, 1996; two brothers, Richard Douglas "Dick" Benton, who departed this life on April 17th, 2017 and Thomas Gordon "Tom" Benton Sr., who departed this life on November 6th, 2015; and one sister, Linda Frances Benton Peters, who departed this life on January 19th, 2010.
The family has chosen cremation as final disposition with a memorial held at Harrison Hills Park in Pennsylvania this summer, and Hueston Woods Park in Ohio.
