Amanda Stomm, age 63, widow of Lewis Stomm, passed away at her home east of town, at an early hour Tuesday morning. Death was due to paralysis, she having been first stricken a week previous at the late home of J.S. Smith.
Mrs. Stomm was born and reared on the Copeland farm south of town now owned by C.T. Knapp.
Her husband passed away fifteen years ago and she leaves one son, Ottis Stomm and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at the Church of the Brethren, Rev. Sylvester Billheimer and Rev. O. D. Working being in charge. Burial was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Copeland, of Milton, John Henry Billheimer, of Richmond, Mrs. Rebecca Knotts, of Muncie and Mr. and Mrs. William Newcom, of Detroit, Mich., attended the funeral.
