Agnes LaFrance, 99, a resident of Lakeside Nursing Home, died Friday, April 29, 2005, at the nursing home. She was born in Scotland, daughter of the late James and Mary McDonald. She was the widow of David A Brumfield and Jack LaFrance.
Agnes and her family came to the United States in 1911, first settling in Bronxville and then in New Rochelle. Prior to coming to Ithaca in 1998, she had lived in Bucks County, PA, and Port St. Lucie, Fl. She resided at Longview when she first arrived in Ithaca.
Anges is survived by her daughter Nancy Brumfield, her grandson and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands she was also predeceased by her son Bruce Brumfield; her sisters Ina Kershow, Anne Kohler, and Marjorie Shaw; and her brothers Alex and Jack McDonald.
