Cardon - In Logan City, April 26th of measles, Elmer, infant son of Thomas B. and Lucy Cardon; aged 1 year, 9 months and 9 days.

Condolence
The sympathy of everybody in Logan will be extended in Logan to Brother and Sister Thomas B. Cardon, in the loss of their infant son. The little fellow was attacked by measles, and though everything possible was done for his relief, all was unavailing. On Monday last, his body yielded to the power of the destroyer; on Tuesday the funeral services were held. He was one of the brightest and most intelligent children we had ever seen, and his death will leave a void in the hearts and home of his parents, which will not easily be filled. May heaven's choicest blessings come upon the sorrowing ones.
