Henry was born on September 19, 1920 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Selina Dutour and Joseph Mosier, Sr. He married Catherine Tofari on April 12, 1947 at St. Rose Church in Kankakee, IL. Henry worked at A.O. Smith Corporation in Production for 31 years retiring in 1978. He was a U.S. Army Sargeant in World War II from 1942 until 1945. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Washington Artilliary, Ancio Veteran Organization. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was affiliated with the Kankakee Twp. and Kankakee Fire Department for 14 years. Henry was of the catholic faith.
He is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert & Susan Mosier, Ashkum, IL., Alvin & Gloria Mosier of Pyatt, Arkansas, George & Linda Mosier of Bradley, IL., Raymond Mosier and Kenneth Mosier, both of Kankakee, IL., one daughter and son-in-law, Roberta & Martin Volpe of Wilmington, IL., one sister, Anna Blau of Union Hill, IL., two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jospeh Jr. & Josephine Mosier of Wisconsin and Thomas Mosier of Kentucky, numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and special campanion, Laura Raymond of Aroma Park, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, James Mosier, one brother, Louis Mosier, one brother, Francis Mosier and one great-granddaughter.
