J. Riley Westberry, 80, prominent South Georgian, father of J. D. Westberry of this city, died Sunday at the home of a daughter in Blackshear, and final rites were held at Little Creek Church near Jesup today. He had been a member of the Central Baptist Church of this city for many years. Surviving Mr. Westberry are: one daughter, four sons, four sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Connie Margan, Blackshear; J. D. Westberry of Waycross; J. A., M. C., and A. O. Westberry of Blackshear; Mrs. E. L. Fulce of Daytona Beach, Fla.; Mrs. G. W. Thornton and Mrs. J. M. Armstrong of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Mrs. W. B. Thornton of Gainesville, Fla.; O. M. and W. K. Westberry of Daytona Beach, Fla., and E. A. Westberry of Woodbine, Ga.; twenty-five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
