Earla M. Minnich, 95, of 433 W. Sixth St, Waynesboro, widow of John W. Minnich, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30, in the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. She had been in failing health for the past four months and critically ill the past week. Born June 16, 1895, in Monterey, Blue Ridge Summit, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Vermenia (Eyler) Muth. She lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area. She and her husband were married July 25, 1912. He died Sept 18, 1959. Mrs. Minnich lived at the present residence for the past 34 years, entering the home on Apnl 12. She was a member of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Matilda L. Bumbaugh, Mrs. Eleanor M. Benchoff and Mrs. Delores J Carson; three sons, Emory C. Minnich, Donald C. Minnich and Reginald R.
Minnich; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Audrey and Kenneth Minnich. She was the last of her immediate family.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Grove Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
