Information says he's buried at Camp Sherman, Warren Co, Mississippi, but the ony "Sherman" I can find is where I entered Cemetery info.

Born in Bue River Township Harrison Co, Indiana.
Married Kesiah Terry Crutchfield.

Conrad Storms Whitman was named for his maternal grandfather, Conrad Storms. He married at a young age and was a farmer like his father. In the 1850's, he moved his family to Songer Twp., Clay Co., Illinois, near the homes of his eldest sister, Elizabeth Songer and brother John T. Whitman. Although over 40 at the time the Civil War broke out and with a large family of 11 children to support, Conrad nevertheless volunteered for service along with his son John, Samuel & Conrad Jr. He died of disease contracted during the Battle of Vicksburg and was buried at Camp Sherman in Warren Co., Mississippi.
