Mr. Robert Howard Gilbert, 83, of Pisgah, passed away Friday at his residence.
He was a charter member and deacon of Freedom Baptist Church. He also was retired from E.I. DuPont in Chattanooga with thirty seven and half years of service.
His survivors include wife, Jane Gilbert; son, Stephen Gilbert, daughter, Cynthia and Alan Camp; grandsons, Nathan and Daniel Gilbert, granddaughter's, Amanda, Melissa, and Heather Camp; brothers, Tommy and Melvin Gilbert; sister, Nina Laney.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Freedom Baptist Church in Pisgah, Ala. State Hwy 71. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. today until time of service. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery in Pisgah.
