Miss Cheryl Elizabeth Clements, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin J. Clements of 2797 Winding Lane, NE, died Monday in a private hospital of cystic fibrosis, an incurable children's disease. She was 11.

Cystic Fibrosis, relatives said, is a disease of the pancreas and the glandular system.

Cheryl had suffered from the disease all her life and, relatives said, she was lucky to have lived as long as she did.

Cheryl was a Brownie. She had been permitted to join the Girl Scouts as an honorary member last year while the Clements were living in Shreveport, La. Her father, a federal employee who works In the control tower at the Fulton County Airport, had been transferred to Shreveport for a year's service. The Clements returned to Atlanta recently.

Born in Atlanta, Cheryl had attended Our Lady of the Assumption School until she moved to Shreveport. Since her return to Atlanta she had been too ill to attend, relatives said.

Funeral plans will be announced by H. M. Patterson & Son.

Other survivors include a sister, Carey Jane Clements, 3, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Clements, and Mrs. Thelma Borg, all of Atlanta.
