Charlene Cripps, age 64, of Breckinridge County, KY, passed away Friday, (December 17, 2021) at Baptist Health Hardin.

She was born on March 29, 1957 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Caleb and Elsie Scalf Tuttle .

She was an amazing example of God's grace and living in faith. She showed a selfless love to everyone and her desire was to make sure other's needs were met before her own because she knew that God would supply her needs. She was a beacon of light, leading her family to know Jesus. Her faith in God is the legacy she leaves behind.

She loved her dearly beloved husband, James Cripps; their four children, Elizabeth Garlinger, Leslie Cripps (Jennifer), Rodney Cripps (Kayla), Amy Sweeney (Nick). She also loved her nine grandchildren, Cody Garlinger, Casey Garlinger, Isaiah Cripps, Ethan Cripps, Connor Cripps, Elijah Sweeney, Isaac Cripps, Oliver Sweeney and Adalyn Cripps. She also loved her two sisters and six brothers. She will be missed by numerous family and friends.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cripps; an infant grandchild; an infant great-grandchild and five brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (December 21, 2021) at Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Randall Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hazelwood Cemetery.
