Dollie Harrison, 83, of Hatfield, KY, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2021, after a long illness surrounded by her family.

Dollie was born November 22, 1938, at Hatfield, KY, the daughter of the late Joe and Hazel Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Carl Harrison; brothers, Richard Hensley, James Floyd Hensley and her sisters, Ollie Hackney, who was her twin, Barbara Elkins and Rebecca Bailey. She was a member of the Nolan Freewill Baptist Church and looked forward to going every Sunday. She loved her church family very much. She was also retired from the Pike County Board of Education, where she worked as a cook for many years.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren; Hazel Bevins (Burton) and children, Nick and Heather Bevins; Johnny Harrison (Verlie) and children, Rellona Parsley (Joe), JC Harrison and children, Kayla and Randon and Travis Harrison; Roscoe "Rocky" Harrison (Barb) and children, Melissa Shannon (Ben), Richard Winning and Hayley and Mason Shannon; Paul Harrison (Sandy) and children, Christy, Olivia and Wendy Harris; Tony Harrison (Tanya) and children, Hope Chapman (Kenneth), Kadence and Brooklyn Chapman, Brandi Hatfield (Hayden) and Jonathon May (Michelle). She also leaves behind a brother, Earsel Hensley (Vickie); a sister, Betty Little (Carl); sisters-in-law, Margie Hensley and Shelby Hensley, and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2021, at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with the Nolan Freewill Baptist Church Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley and A.C. Young Cemetery, Varney, KY, with her family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 6 – 9 PM in the funeral home chapel. Special services will be held Sunday night at 7 PM. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is serving the Harrison family.
