Donald J. Ervine, 66, of Rushville, IN, passed away Dec. 14, 2021.
Donnie was born in Connersville, IN on April 13, 1955, a son of the late Avylin Dean (Moore) and Vernon W. Ervine.
He drove a truck through his life working for Eugene Stanley Paving, Gary Brown Trucking, Terry King Trucking and the Rush County Schools as a bus driver several years. Donnie also owned and operated his own construction business many years. He honorable served in the Indiana National Guard and was a member of the VFW.
Donnie is survived by five sons Donald (Catherine) Ervine Jr., of Rushville; Kendall (Aimee) Ervine, of New Castle; Brad (Tonya) Ervine, of Rushville; Travis (Jenni) Ervine, of Rushville; Jason (Katie) Ervine, of Rushville, a sister, Aleita Sweet, and brother, Kendall Ervine, both of Rushville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. His former wife and mother to his children, Cheryl (Key) Ervin of Rushville also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three brothers and a grandson, Clayton Dean Ervine.
