Areda Davis Bishop, 75, of Weaverville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, following a long illness.
A native of Buncombe Co., Mrs. Bishop was a daughter of the late Tony and Lola Penley Davis.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her loving family: her husband of 54 years, Albert F. Bishop; daughters, Connie Smith Hogston, and Donna Davis and husband Steve, both of Asheville; son, Albert F. Bishop, Jr., and wife Lou of Arden; sister, Brenda Shepard, of Debary, FL; brothers, Edward, Robert, and Elbert Davis, all of Asheville, and Billy Davis, of Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
