Funeral services for Lenna Jo Vaughn, 63, of Athens, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Gale Galloway officiating.
Burial was in the Midway Cemetery under the direction of the Foster & Brown Funeral Home in Athens.
Mrs. Vaughn died Friday, Sept. 3, from injuries received in an automobile/pedestrian accident.
She was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Poynor to John and Rubie Hilton Berryhill. She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a Baptist.
Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lester Vaughn, in 1970.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Mary Vaughn of Athens; mother, Ruby Berryhill of LaRue; two sisters, Ruby Lee McCoy of LaRue and Jean Redding of Irving; one brother, John N. Berryhill Jr. of LaRue; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Robert Fites, Danny McCoy, Jimmy McCoy, Gordon Folmar, Bobby Craig and Delbert Lewis.
