Daniel Bausman, son of John and Esther Bausman, was born in Neave Township, Darke County, Ohio, January 19, 1852, and spent his entire life in Neave and Greenville Townships.

He was united in marriage to Susannah Fry December 24, 1878. To this union were born two sons, Ananias H. and Earl E. His wife and two sons passed to the spirit world several years ago.

December 24, 1912, he married Lavina Maurer, who has been a great inspiration and real help in his years of affliction. He united with the Church of the Brethren at the age of 33 years, and remained faithful to his Lord. He was a deacon and did much for the church in his active life.

He leaves a loving wife, one brother, one sister, four grandchildren, and many friends. He departed this life May 31, 1929, age 77 years, 4 months, and 12 days.

For Thou hast died for me.
