Loene was born in Rocky Ford, CO on February 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Ralph Waldo and Thelma Fern (Andrews) Hendrie.
She graduated from Rocky Ford High School and from Santa Monica Community College in Santa Monica, CA.
She was married to Valdon Grasmick he passed away shortly after their marriage. She was then married to Jack Manchen they later divorced.
She retired from General Telephone/Verizon Communications in California.
She is survived by:
Daughter Michelle wife of Drew Walton of Monument, CO;
Son Richard husband of Karen Manchen of Sanford, NC;
Sister Carolyn wife of Jack Campbell of Rocky Ford, CO;
Sister Lorna Mae James of Santa Maria, CA;
Brother Ernest husband of Nita Hendrie of Rocky Ford, CO;
Granddaughter Charlene Manchen of Sanford, NC;
Grandson Justin Walton of Monument, CO;
Granddaughter Shelby Walton of Monument, CO.
She was preceded in death by grandson: Ricky Manchen; brother: Rollin Hendrie.
Graveside Service will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 15th, with Gail Allen officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected.
