Carolyn Fern Campbell, 76, passed away on February 10, 2016 at the Crowley County Nursing Center in Ordway. She was born on February 23, 1939 in Rocky Ford to Ralph Waldo & Thelma Fern (Andrews) Hendrie. She married John Henry Campbell, Jr. on July 10, 1958 in Ordway, Colorado; he preceded her in death on July 20, 2011.

Carolyn worked at Valco for over 30 years. She enjoyed going to ceramic class every week and made many ceramics to share. She also enjoyed cooking and having family gathering. She was active in Peppy Homemakers and loved cocker spaniel dogs. She will be dearly missed by her family.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Greg) Hutton, Kevin (Judy Brizendine) Campbell all of Rocky Ford; Pam (Bob) Konz of Calhan, CO; and Mark Campbell of Rocky Ford; grandchildren, Matt (Lisa) Campbell of Fowler; Donovan Campbell of Pueblo; Erica (Brandon) Hirsch of Nashville, TN; Derek Hutton of Grand Prairie, TX; Bradley Epps, Christopher Epps, and Mallory Konz all of Calhan; Kayla Konz of Colorado Springs; Samantha Konz of Calhan; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Campbell, Jake Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Connor Campbell, Logan Lefors, and Ayla Hirsch; sister, Lorna Mae James of Santa Maria, CA; brother, Ernest (Nita) Hendrie of Rocky Ford; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Jeffery Campbell.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Crowley County Nursing Center, 401 Idaho Avenue, Ordway, CO, 81063 direct or through funeral home.
