Hazel Woodruff Earp, 96, born Feb. 18, 1911 to Walter and Mable Taylor in Fredrick, OK and made her transition from Earth to Heaven Sat., Dec. 8, 2007, from Okla. City, OK. Her main interest was her family, church-Olivet Baptist Church, neighborhood, where she and her late husband, Harold Earp, served as presidents of Metro Park Neighborhood Assoc. for many years. Her professions included the fashion industry and real estate. When she retired from Balliet's at age 63, she studied for, and with her husband, Harold, entered the real estate business. She was a wonderful salesperson because she truly cared about people. One of her favorite bits of advice was 'bloom where you're planted!' ~ and she did, with love, style and grace. She led a clean and productive Christian life. Her loved ones include son, Arthur Donald Woodruff and wife Alberta Dodson Woodruff, their children, Donna June Woodruff, and Donald Wayne Woodruff and wife Mindy, all live in Tulsa, OK; the first grandchild, Kimberly Anne Weaver, Tulsa, OK and daughter of Betty Atwell; Hazels' sister, Ruth Taylor Williams and husband Rev. Sherman Williams of Castro Valley, CA; and many dear nieces and nephews. Hazels' daughter, Betty Atwell, with her husband, Gordon Atwell, Jr. lived in Hazels' home and cared for her just over three years. We thank our dear friend, Don Kreuzberg, for his help and kindness, as well as Interim HealthCare Hospice. Visitation will be 9 AM til 8 PM, Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at Guardian West Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1 PM, Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at Olivet Baptist Church with interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
