"Mrs. Alena Moran, 75, wife of Jos. Moran, lifelong resident of Jackson(sic) county, d'Iberville, died at 2 a.m. Satuday at the home. She leaves her husband, a son Edward L., four sisters, Mrs. Leon Seymour, Mrs. G. W. Price, Mrs. Geo. Entrekin, and Mrs. Fritz Santa Cruz, d'Iberville, and two grandchildren. The funeral will be from the home Sunday afternoon at 3:30 under the auspices of the Sacred Heart Church with burial in Moran Cemetery."

Pallbearers were Lyman Seymour, Orin Santa Cruz, Albert Santa Cruz, George Entrekin, Noll Moran and George Moran."
