Tammy was born in Washington County, and reared in Oconee, the daughter of the late Edward Oliver and the late Bessie Lavin Johnson Mason. She was a longtime employee of Pizza Inn in Sandersville and Mohawk Manufacturing in Dublin prior to working for Trojan Battery Company in Sandersville. She was a member of her childhood church, Oconee Church of God. Later in life, Tammy loved playing board games with family as well as computer games, and she was an avid reader.
Survivors are her husband, Michael Quinn of Tucker; children, Timothy Yates and his wife Stephanie of Sandersville and Tyler Wilson of Scott; grandchildren, Aslan Yates and Cooper Yates; and siblings, Sandy Stobie and her husband Tim of Sandusky, OH., and Garry Brown Jr. and his wife Tracy of Harrison.
