Mrs. Fannie Mae Hicks Griggs, 84, of Marietta died Tuesday. Services were held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Acworth with the Rev. A. C. Davis and Capt. Henry Hunter officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery in Acworth. Mrs. Griggs was retired from the Acworth School System as a cook. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dobbs of Marietta, and Mrs. Alice Davidson of Kennesaw; one sister, Mrs. Alice Duncan of Marietta; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
