Mrs. Catharine Gray, whose suit for divorce from her husband, Samuel Gray, is pending in the circuit court, died Thursday night, November 18, at her residence, corner of Main street and Weber avenue, aged 30 years, 10 months (cemetery records show 29 years, 9 months, 7 days old and a census records shows born 1865).
She leaves two children:
Susan, aged 11
Jesse, aged 4
... also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Erlinger
... five sisters and three brothers.
The deceased had been in poor health for some time, the result of injuries sustained by a fall from a tree while gathering fruit.
The funeral took place Sunday, at 1 p.m., from her last residence to Walnut Hill cemetery.
