Eddie Donal Banks, age 65, passed away Sunday morning, October 17, 2021, at home surrounded by family and friends after a 9 month long battle with cancer.

He was born in Savannah, Georgia on October 28, 1955. He was raised in Glennville, Georgia and resided in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where he owned and operated Banks Trucking and Dirt WX.

Banks was a loving husband, encouraging father, respectful friend, and amazing person. More than anything he loved cooking for his family and taking care of his dogs, Diesel and Tito's.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda and his father, Ed Banks. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hulsey-Banks of Richmond Hill, GA; his sons, Samuel Hulsey (Olivia) of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Benjamin Hulsey of Boston, Massachusetts; sister, Lynne Gordon (Paul) of Glennville, GA; granddaughter, Raylynn Hulsey of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; honoree sons, Richard Jachimowicz and Sean Marcolus of Richmond Hill, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm.

Burial will follow at Burnt Church Cemetery in Richmond Hill, GA.
