Donald Harry Oberg, aged 89, lifelong resident of Phelps WI left this earth to meet with his Lord and Savior on November 2, 2021. He died in Marshfield WI.

He is survived by his brother Lawrence (Connie) Oberg of Yuma, AZ; wife Margaret Oberg of Phelps. He is also survived by daughters Marie Oberg of Onalaska WI; Teresa (Randy) Malcore of Greenville WI; Wanda (Jerry dec'd) Booth of Seattle WA; Sonia (Joseph) Kichefski of Volant PA; Amy Jo (Daniel) Pavick of Weyerhaeuser WI; and Linda (Thomas) Wysocki of Onalaska WI along with 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, all of whom he was very proud.

Donald served his country as a radio operator in the Korean conflict. He worked for 38 years at Sylvan Products in Phelps WI, as well as tending to the Twin Lakes and Long on Deerskin Dams for the Wisconsin Valley Improvement Co. from 1973 through 2020, for which a bench was dedicated to him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Laura Oberg; sister Margaret Oberg of Phelps WI; sister Shirley Boehme of Eagle River WI; brother Robert Oberg of Eagle River WI; brother Russell Oberg of Chicago IL.

Donald's love of God was evidenced by his life. His easygoing, jovial nature endeared him to many. He enjoyed nature and taught his children and grandchildren to appreciate it also. He was so loved and will be so missed!!

Funeral services will be held at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI on Saturday, 11/13/2021 with visitation from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the service at 11:00 AM.

Because of health concerns, we will not be hosting a reception following the service. Donald and Daddy, we miss you already and will always love you; we will see you later!!
