Born to parents Albert Frederick and Mary Beatrice Faust Herbine he was raised in Berwick,PA and joined the Navy after graduation from Berwick high school. He served in Key West in search and rescue and after his discharge he joined the Air Force Reserves serving for 27 years. He married the love of his life who he met on shore leave in Wildwood NJ and they had 3 children. In his retirement to Florida he joined the Coast Guard Auxillary and was a member of the Citizens on Patrol (COPS) as well as being CERT trained. He led an active outdoor life enjoying hiking, skiing, boating, wind surfing and camping. He also had a thirst for knowledge making sure we always learned new things on our many camping vacations. He had a zest for life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He will be very missed by his family and friends.
