First born daughter to Albert Frederick and Mary Beatrice Faust Herbine. She married Glen Emery Major June 12, 1946 and had 2 son's Brian Lee and Mark Jeffery. She was blessed with 5 grand children and one great grand child at the time of her death. She spent most of her 95 years in Berwick.
After the death of her husband in 1996 she sold the large family home and moved into her mothers home in town renting out the apt upstairs. In 1998 her brother Bob and wife moved to FL following their daughter Sue and they started to put the pressure on Jane to move down as well. She moved down about 2001 to the top of the World and this started a great time of vacations and many cruises with her brother, sister in law and 2 nieces. After the death of her brother she moved down to Inverness to the community her sister in law lived in and the cruises continued. I was able to assist with two bucket list items that of taking her to Alaska and to Venus to ride a gondola. She was a great traveling companion. After the death of Marge in 2015 she decided to move closer to a son and moved to Columbia MO to be near Mark. She enjoyed independent living and Judy and I went out for her 90th birthday. She lived life to the fullest enjoying every moment of it. She will be greatly missed.
