Again the angel of death visited our community and called to the Savior one of our most loved and esteemed citizens, Mrs. Aldine Booth, who passed into eternity last Saturday morning, October 15, at St. Joseph's Infirmary in Houston, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Booth was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi in 1839 and had been a resident of Richmond for over 40 years. She had a host of friends here who loved her for her sweet, womanly ways and her Christian character, and they mourn with her loved ones over her death. She is survived by two sons, Freeman Booth of Booth, and Will Booth of Rosenberg; two daughters, Mrs. H. F. Addicks of Huntsville and Mrs. W. I. McFarlane of this place, and several grandchildren.
