Mrs. Wheeler was a daughter of Ruel Billings and Jennie Harvey Billings. On 25 Nov 1908 she married Merton Henry Wheeler in Tunkhannock. They had no known children. She was a graduate of the Tunkhannock schools and the Wyoming Seminary. She was a homemaker, a member of Elm Park Methodist Church, the Women of Elm Park and the church's Ladies Aid Society, also a member of the YWCA and the Scranton Century Club. She was survived by her husband, nieces and nephews.
