Eugene Boggs, 79 of Crafts Colley, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Eugene was the son of the late Dillard and Mary Hendrix Boggs. He was the widower of Betty Stallard Boggs. Surviving is 1 son: Michael Boggs of Crafts Colley; 3 daughters: Tammy Niece of Flat Gap, Tena Brown of Cowan and Lisa Blair of Matewan, West Virginia; 2 sisters: Betty Mitchell of Crafts Colley and Barbara Collins of Smoot Creek; 5 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by 6 siblings: Jewel Boggs, Joyce Boggs, John Boggs, J.L. Boggs, Ralph Boggs and Jim Boggs. Graveside Service: 12:00 O'clock Noon Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Adams and Stallard Cemetery with Frank Adams officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
