Allegra Antoinette Antoine was born on August 25, 1969, in Martinez, California, to the late Rosetta Williams and Jesse Vera Antoine.

She graduated from University High School and attended Santa Monica College. Known for her elaborate and multiple handwriting styles, she was routinely called into the principal's office for plagiarism and had to personally prove she was the original author.

Allegra was a hardworking woman often looking for ways to advance her career. She moved to Houston, Texas in 2010 and later relocated to Spring, Texas in 2012 to expand her career in imports. Having worked with US Customs in the import industry for about 20 years, she knew that field like the back of her hand often knowing more than her superiors.

As a mother of two, Dominique (son) and Allriyana (daughter) Hunter, she adored being a mom and frequently smothered them. Family time was important to her as she often traveled to Beaumont and Houston for family gatherings.

Like her mother, Rosetta, Allegra loved to cook. She attended the Culinary Arts Institute and was famous for her Pecan Praline Cobbler; Peach Cobbler; Triple Chocolate Cake; Chicken Caprese; Lasagna and many more specialties. Often imitated but never duplicated, her specialties will be greatly missed.

In addition to cooking, Allegra loved animals and playing games. Her favorite pastimes were boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) which she often watched with her son, Dominique.

Well-known for her wide selection of essentials oils, her scents always left a lasting impression. Allegra also enjoyed her "me time" and regularly pampered herself with hair and nail appointments.

Allegra is survived by her son Dominique Hunter of Spring, Texas; daughter Allriyana Hunter of Houston, Texas; sister, Shalonda Antoine of Los Angeles, California; father, Jesse Vera Antoine of Chatsworth, California; host of beloved family and friends and her two Australian Shepherd Labradors, Coco and Ebony.
