Mary Bartlow was one of twin girls born to James Newton Bartlow Jr. and Phebe Fort Bartlow. They were number five and six of eighteen children born to this union. Mary married first, Samuel Byers, November 1852 in Hancock County, Indiana. Her second marriage was Michael Reichard, October 1859, Hancock County, Indiana.
Mary and Samuel had two children. Mary and Michael had two children.
Michael Reichard died between 1870-1880 in Henry County, Indiana and Mary went to live with her daughter Elizabeth Reichard Nestling, around 1900, in Clark County, Ohio.
