Lydia Sourenian Atmajian, 73, of Wallingford, retired office manager for Delaware County Child Care Services, died Oct. 5 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Atmajian lived in Upper Darby before moving to Walingford. Former office manager of Delaware County Child Care Services who retired in 1988, she was a 1942 graduate of West Philadelphia High School.
A woman who devoted herself to her home and family, she was a member of Media Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son, Donald G. Atmajian of Wallingford; a daughter, Karen L. Barkman of Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Victoria Kalemkarian of Springfield and Mary S. Talento of Upper Providence; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middletown and Knowlton roads, Middletown. Burial is in Media Cemetery. Calling is after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
