Anna was the mother of 7 children, she took in washing, and ironing to help support her family. After her 3rd child Mathilda Wagner's death she raised her 2 grandsons. Mathilda died in child birth. She held her family togather, dispite the meny problems they faced. Anna also lost her 6th child a boy (Walter) at birth. Her eldest child (Harold) suffered brain damage due to scarlet feaver at age 5, and her youngest Patricia had epelispy. (Patricia was a change of life baby for Anna)
