Services for Paul M. Rohrer will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Ashland Brethren in Christ Church with the Revs. Dale W. Engle and Ted Mitten officiating. Burial will be Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Ashland County.

Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Denbow-Primm Funeral Home. Friends may also call one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Northwest Ohio service Area, 3178 Republic Blvd., Toledo 43615 or to the Ashland Brethren in Christ Church.

Mr. Rohrer, 74, of 699 Hale Ave., died Tuesday evening in the Brethren Care Nursing Home.

e was born in Englewood on Aug. 21, 1914, the son of Albert Myers and Anna Elsie Hoke Rohrer.

He was a resident of Ashland county since 1948. Mr. Rohrer was a member of the Ashland Brethren in Christ Church, where he had served as the church treasurer for several years. Mr. Rohrer was employed by P. H. Roepke and Sons of Nankin as a fuel distributor, retiring in 1979.

He was married Feb. 24, 1940, to Marjorie Estella Boyer Rohrer, who survives him. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in February of this year.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Charlene) Cox of La Habra, Calif.; one son, Larry W. of Ashland; four grandchildren; one step-grandson; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. John (Anna Mae) Kohler of Ashland and Dorcas Mitchell, Rachel Schildberg and Mrs. George (Marjorie) Kott, all of Oak Harbor, Wash.; two brothers, Levi A. of Wakefield, Kan, and Donald E. of Chambersburg, Pa.
