Son of John Polk Peterman and Catharine Landon
T.L. Peterman, 68, 415 North Walnut Street, father of Mrs. Stanley Chesser, 905 Hull Avenue, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at City Hospital of a heart ailment, after an illness of five years.
Mr. Peterman was born August 23, 1878 at Celina, a son of John and Katherine (Landon) Peterman, and was married at Shelby in June, 1901, to the former Emma Ream, who survives.
Also surviving with the widow and daughter are a granddaughter, Victoria Chesser, and a brother, George, of Chicago. A retired janitor at the W.A. Riddell Company, Mr. Peterman came to this community 27 years ago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Munz Funeral Home, with Rev. J.P. Cordero officiating, and burial will be made at St. Paul's Cemetery, northeast of Sulphur Springs.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
