The death of Miss Mary Peterman was sad news to her many friends. She passed away at 5 o'clock this morning at the family home on Sharon street.
Death was the results of typhoid pneumonia. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peterman and was nineteen years of age. She had been ill about six weeks but her many friends did not feel that her illness was of so serious a nature. She was of a kind and loving disposition and will be missed by a large circle of friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the family home conducted by the Rev. C.M. Eberly, pastor of the U.B. Church.
Miss Mary Peterman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peterman, was born in Mercer County, Ohio, February 3, 1884. Died November 7, 1901. Aged 17 years, 9 months, and four days.
She was a young lady of noble traits of character and was a favorite among her companions.
She was a devoted Christian and a member of the church of the United Brethren in Christ.
She leaves a father and mother, one sister and three brothers to morn her departure. A wide circle of relatives and friends bow in grief with these in submission to the will of your heavenly Father.
