He was then employed at the Danvers State Hospital for three years then moved to Montville, Maine. He operated a Dairy Farm for 10 years then moved back to Massachusetts where he worked as a mechanic. After he retired he moved to Shapleigh.
He is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Dawson of Lyman and Helen Dunca n of Saugas, MA.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday October 20th at 11Am at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.
