Marjorie E. (Conrad) Dawson, 95, of Lyman passed away peacefully at the Pinnacle Health and Rehab in Sanford on August 25, 2022. Formerly of North Reading and Saugus.

Marjorie was born in Everett, MA on November 28, 1926 to the late Albert Conrad and Alexandra (Parsons) Conrad. She grew up and graduated from high school in Saugus, MA and then took one year of pre-nursing at Atlantic Union College and three years of nursing at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, MA where she worked for ten years before moving to Troy, ME. She moved back to MA in 1971 to be near family and in 1996 retired back in ME.

She waa the beloved wife for 67 years of William S. Dawson, Sr. (Predeceased). Marjorie is survived by her three sons, William Jr., and wife, Kitty of Fairfield; and Robert and James of Acton. She is the grandmother of William III and Andrew, and wife, Samantha, all of Fairfield. Marjorie was especially proud of her great-grandson, Oliver Henry Dawson of Fairfield. She was predeceased by her brother, Albert (Bud) Conrad of Shapleigh. She is survived by her loving sister, Helen Duncan of Saugus and by many relatives and friends.

Marjorie loved spending time with her family and friends along with being an avid bird watcher. She enjoyed her quiet times with her lap cat, Tom.

Marjorie was a long time faithful member of the Saco Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was truly appreciative of all her church family and thankful for all of their prayers and support.

Marjorie and Bill's favorite Bible verse was: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 30 beginning at 10:30 AM followed by a light luncheon at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 46 Cleveland Street, Saco, with Pastor Brenda Johnson officiating. Burial time at 1:00 PM at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 83 Stanley Road in Springvale.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Seventh Day Adventist Church to help those in need.
