Cecil Patrick Fisher, age 87, of Grace Chapel Church Road, Hamlet, North Carolina, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital, in Rockingham, North Carolina. She was born July 19, 1913, in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Daisy Lee Webster Patrick and James Wallace Patrick. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Methodist Church. She was active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Fisher, in November 1982. Surviving are: two sisters, Kitty Mae Chavis, of Hamlet, and Doris Edge, of Fayetteville; four brothers, Jimmy Patrick and Douglas Patrick, both of Hamlet, Herbert Patrick, of Rockingham, and Bill Patrick, of Temecula, California.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Watson-King Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Donald Warren officiating. Entombment will follow at Richmond Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
