On the 1st of April of 1894, Sarah Jane married George Augustus Arthur, better known as "Gus" in Green County.
Gus and Sadie left Green County, Wisconsin in 1902 to go to Custer County, Nebraska, living first at Comstock, and later bought a farm 7 miles north of Broken Bow, where they lived and raised their children. Sadie died of Breast Cancer in 1929. Gus stayed on the farm to finish raising his younger children, until he moved into Broken Bow in 1942.
Gus and Sadie were wonderful dancers and people use to sit back and watch them dance. Gus and several of his sons could dance the Irish Jig.
Sadie was a loving wife and mother.
Sadie is buried at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Broken Bow, alongside her loving husband Gus.
