Mrs. Fredia Gail Gray Bays, age 68 of Barbourville was born in Knox County on August 12, 1953 to the late Zander Gray and Myrtle Asher Gray and departed this life on September 29, 2021 at her home.
She was a member of the New Beginnings Holiness Church and enjoyed teaching kids, sewing, singing in church, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, her first husband: James Paul Johnson, her second husband: Charles Bays, 1- Brother: LeeRay Gray, and Special friend: Joann mills preceded her in death.
Fredia is survived by her loving daughters: Paula Kelly and husband Brian of Barbourville,: Jamie Wilson and husband Travis of Flat Lick, and Cindy Wegemer and husband Steve of Texas, 1- Brother: Gary Wayne Gray of Flat Lick, and 1-Sister: Erma Faye Goe and husband Ken of Texas, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fredia Bays , will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Tim Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the A. J. Mills Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
