Martha Isabelle Allen, 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Allen, died today at 2 a.m. at the family home one mile northwest of Sherrard following one day's illness of pneumonia.
She was born March 8, 1921 and besides the parents is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Robert, William, Raymond, Keith, Joyce, Mary, Jean and Ellen.
The body was taken to the Danielson & Furgie mortuary in Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the home of an uncle, Bernie Allen, in Sherrard with Rev. Daniel Monaghan of St. Ambrose church, Milan, officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary cemetery, Rock Island.

Four weeks ago today, the girl's grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Allen, was taken by death.

The body was removed to the Danielson and Furgie mortuary, Moline, pending funeral arrangements.
