Obit from Willmar News -- 7/29/1897
After five weeks of suffering, Mrs. Emma Doble, beloved wife of Marshall Levi Doble, of this city, passed away at ten-o-clock Monday morning. About six weeks ago, the deceased was thrown out of a buggy and injured. Serious effects followed and developed into cerebral hemmorrage. The deceased was 31 years of age, and has been a resident of Willmar for the past six years. She leaves a husband and seven children, the oldest being fourteen, the youngest two. She will be missed in the Methodist church where she was an earnest worker. Prayer services will be held at the residence at 3 p.m. today. The remains will be taken to Royalton for interment.
