Ms. Deborah Ann Moon Kesler, 67, of Royston, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.
Deborah was born in Royston on November 10, 1953, daughter of the late Harvey Thomas Moon and Nancy Abigail Rousey Moon. She was a graduate of Elbert County High School and was retired from the maintenance department at Dupont in Athens. She was happiest when surrounded by her family.
Survivors include her sons: Casey Kesler and his wife Susan of Colbert and Derek Kesler and his wife Kimberly of Nicholson; two grandchildren: Lexie and Katie; siblings: Coy and Martha Moon of Elberton, Pauline Seigler of Bowman, Barbara Mason of Bowman, and Foye and Bobby Rucker of Elberton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Charles "Fud Dud" Moon, Hubert Moon, Herman Moon, Aaron Moon, Beverly Rucker, and Darlena Carey.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, September 23, at 11 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Wednesday, September 22.
