Kishiko Takae Busby also known as Aunt Linda was born in Soul Korea, then occupied by Japan, later moving with her family back to Beppa-Shi, Oita-Ken, Japan where she grew up. Kishiko and her family lived adjacent to the Atomic Bomb detonation but survived the bombing. Kishiko met my Uncle George Edward Busby then US Army MSG, she was his secretary working for the US Army during the occupation of Japan by American Forces in WWII. Kishiko married MSG Busby in Kobe Japan on 25 January 1954. Kishiko left Japan with MSG Busby on his return to the US in 1962 to Fort Lenoardwood MO. Kishiko became a US citizen June 6, 1962 in Jefferson City, MO. Kishiko decided to go for extended visit to see her family in Japan in 2018, she developed pneumonia and died April 11, 2018 at TSurumi Hospital and was later cremated. Her remains are with family member Ms Nobu Ando.
