Katie was married to John Henry Berry on September 22, 1907. According to their niece, Jean Record, they had eight children: Clarence, Berdie, Gerdie, Vergie, Ivan, Ruby, Clyde, and Arley.

Katie Kasandra Berry, nee White of Coldwater, born 14th February 1891, died on the 06th of August 1936, age 45 years, five months and 19 days. Funeral services were conducted at the Graham Cemetery on 12 Mile Creek in Madison Co., Monday afternoon, burial was there.

Katie was married on 22nd September 1907 to John Henry Berry and to them were born eight children, all living: Clarence of Patterson; Mrs. Birdie LONYOU, Piedmont; Mrs. Gertie STACY and Mrs. Virgie COX, of Saco; Ivan, Ruby, Clyde and Orla Berry of the home; 4 grandchildren; and a brother, Clardy J. White of Greenville.
(Clardy was one of Katie's half brothers, Levi, Elias and Tony (1/2 bros) were all living as were her 2 full brothers, Leb and Jake?)

Note: Katie was a daughter of James Henry White, [1839-1921] and his 3rd wife, Rachel Bennett, [1862-1895].
